A great Engagement Director is someone who:

• Serves as an active law enforcement officer, spouse, chaplain or clinician of 5+ years
• Has been married as an officer, chaplain or clinician couple for 5+ years 
• Has a heart for improving and saving law enforcement marriages
• Desires to energetically volunteer at least 20 hours per month 
• Regularly engages with a network of Christian law enforcement supporters
• Believes in the BTBM vision and mission
• Relates to and demonstrates the BTBM values on a daily basis
• Understands the value of each of our offerings
• Exhibits strong executive presence and knows how to engage with audiences, no matter the size or platform
• Stays active on platforms, publishes content consistently, and partners with influencers
• Optimizes websites and social media through marketing techniques

The Engagement Director:

• Effectively articulates the organization’s “1 minute vision statement”
• Completes Tactical Relationship Training
• Collaborates internally to develop and execute the BTBM engagement strategy, including communication and marketing
• Tracks objectives, key results and metrics of strategic plans
• Fosters community on social media platforms, pages and groups - Facebook, Instagram, X, etc
• Designs, maintains and improves websites (BTBM and TRT)
• Manages inventory of marketing materials, templates, graphics, videos, etc
• Maintains branding and social media policies relative to colors, fonts, messaging, approvals, etc
• Monitors feedback and escalates concerns to the Executive Directors
• Represents the organization at other law enforcement related events
• Brainstorms ideas and participates in ongoing continuous improvement
• Maintains a positive image of the BTBM brand at all times
• Follows social media and expense management policies
• Under the direction of the Board of Directors, leads the Marketing committee
• Attends regular Leadership Meetings
